After just 2 years at the helm of the soccer programs, Coach Beltran is already the winningest coach in Ranger College soccer history. Before coming to Ranger College Coach Beltran had already established a track record of success and record setting. At his previous collegiate spot, coaching the University of the Southwest Mustangs in Hobbs, NM men for two seasons and women for one, his ’08 men qualified for the conference tournament as the #6 seed and took the #3 seed to 2 O.T.’s before falling in a penalty kick shootout. Then, when he took over the women’s program, the ’09 women had their first winning season in several years and tripled their win total from the prior three seasons combined with 9 wins.
