Michelle Wilson from Queens College shares how specificity focuses and enhances conversations between recruits and college coaches.
What Coach Wilson Says About Asking Specific Questions (Full Transcript)
"Hi, I'm Michelle Wilson. I'm from Queens College in New York. One tip I would give to recruits is you should ask college coaches specific questions when you're talking with them.
So, for example, if I was a left back and my graduation year was 2018, I would ask that coach first of all how many graduating seniors are gonna be in that class and if they're looking for an outside back. Also, what qualities are they looking for in the position?
For example, am I looking for speed? Am I looking for someone to get into the attack? Am I looking for more a possession oriented team? Things like that. More specific to that position and that school and what they're looking for."
