Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Management Consultant to join our Chicago team. This temporary, project-based role focuses on workforce planning, operational optimization, and organizational development initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage their business acumen and analytical skills to analyze current processes, recommend improvements, and implement sustainable solutions to enhance our staffing infrastructure and overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Planning and Organizational Analysis:
- Analyze staffing requirements and develop strategic workforce plans.
- Create forecasting models to optimize resource allocation across multiple markets and sports.
- Design organizational structures and reporting frameworks to improve operational efficiency.
Recruitment and Talent Management Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies and sourcing methodologies.
- Design selection frameworks, scorecards, and evaluation systems.
- Create retention programs and coach experience optimization initiatives.
Process Optimization and Systems Development:
- Assess current operational processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement scheduling systems and coverage control mechanisms.
- Develop standard operating procedures, playbooks, and training protocols.
Performance Management and Quality Assurance:
- Establish key performance indicators and reporting dashboards.
- Design evaluation frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Implement quality control systems and compliance monitoring processes.
Strategic Planning and Program Development:
- Create certification pathways and professional development frameworks.
- Design coach experience programs to enhance engagement and retention.
Operational Excellence and Project Management:
- Oversee complex, multi-site event staffing operations.
- Manage cross-functional projects involving scheduling, compliance, and vendor coordination.
- Implement contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
This position requires a professional with a strong educational and analytical background. Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a consulting or analytical role, preferably with experience in workforce management, operational optimization, and strategic planning.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of overseeing complex, multi-faceted projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to manage cross-functional projects and stakeholder relationships.
