After a successful four year career at Alabama State, Joseph Estrada joined the coaching ranks as a Volunteer Assistant at Alabama State University in 2019. Estrada started in CF for the Hornets and was a career .296 with 18 homeruns. He helped lead the Hornets to three Eastern Division Championships and one Conference Championship. Estrada was drafted out of HS, by the Oakland A's in the 25th round.  Estrada helped tutor outfielders Yamil Pagan and Noel Cheneau. Pagan was the 2019 SWAC Player of the Year and 1st Team All SWAC Selection while Cheneau was a 2nd Team All SWAC Selection. Estrada was born in Carolina, PR and attended the International Baseball Academy and High School.
