Head Coach Katie Brasher is making her coaching debut in the NJCAA with the 2018 season. Brasher has been mentored by one of the most decorated coaches in the NAIA: three-time coach of the year winner, Brian Person. Every collegiate roster Katie Brasher has tenured under Person held a top ten ranking nationally, frequenting the #1 spot. Brasher is no stranger to the pitch. Her nineteen years of elite level play gained national recognition as she ended a decorated career at the University of Mobile. At the University of Mobile, Brasher captained her team to two SSAC Championships, four consecutive NAIA National Tournament appearances, multiple #1 rankings, and a 59-19-7 overall record. Brashers individual accolades include being a two-time NAIA All-American, four-time All-Conference, two-time captain, and finishing 7th all time in scoring for the university. As a sophomore at a 6A high school, Brasher set the new single-season scoring record for girls soccer before suffering season-ending injuries her junior and senior seasons.
Katie lives in Albany, GA with her husband, Seth, and their two rescue dogs, Rupert and Rosie.
