Duncan Gillis, a 2014 Beloit College graduate and four-year letterwinner on the Buccaneer Mens Soccer team, was named Head Coach for the Mens Soccer program in December of 2016. He graduated from Beloit in the Spring of 2014 Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Spanish and Education and Youth Studies and a Philosophy minor.  He completed his degree with student teaching at Beloit Memorial High School during the 2014-15 school year, advancing from assisting and observing to full-time teaching.  During the 2014 season with the Bucs Gillis was a part-time assistant,  helping to designing practice sessions, determine training objectives, provided tactical analysis before and during games, and handling administrative issues.  Gillis prior coaching experience, in addition to his season with the Buccaneers, were as an assistant coach for Impact United Soccer Club and Joga Futebol Clube in his hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah, from 2009-14. He earned Second Team All-Midwest Conference honors as a midfielder during his senior season for the Buccaneers.
