Head Coach Giovanni Soto is going into his fourth season at BCC and his second as Head Coach.  Coach Soto has won 2 region titles and gone to nationals in his first two years as an assistant coach to Coach Freddy Herrera (now with Dallas FC MLS) and looking to continue the programs newly found success this Fall season.  Coach Soto is an Englewood NJ Native and former 3 year high school starter for Dwight Morrow High School. At Dwight Morrow, Soto received 1st team all league, 1st team all county and 2nd team all state honors. He then went on to play at William Paterson University where he was a 3 year starter and standout all conference player in the NJAC of Division 3 soccer.  After college, he continued to play in NJ and NY at the semi pro level and then in 2003 started to coach high school soccer. He would coach for a couple of high school programs in bergen county until 2015 when he then started as assistant coach with BCC. He believes that northern new jersey (especially bergen county) has a lot of talent to expose to the junior college level and wants as much as possible that Bergen showcase this talent. He says, "BCC is the perfect place for a student athlete to mature both academically and athletically with the goal of moving on to a 4 year degree and beyond". With hard work, determination and discipline he knows the best is yet to come for BCC Bulldog Soccer.
