Silva joined the Fresno State women's soccer staff in 2017, as a volunteer assistant coach. Prior to Fresno State, Silva was the Feather River College mens assistant coach. During her time at FRC she worked primarily with the defensive line. She helped lead the 2013 team to a No. 9 NJCAA ranking.   The Sao Paulo, Brazil native served as the primary assistant coach for Southwest Baptist University, an NCAA Division II Program that participates in the toughest rated Division II Conference in the country (The MIAA).   After her collegiate soccer career, Silva became a student assistant coach at her alma mater, Martin Methodist College in Tennessee. She helped coach the Red Hawks to a 2009 conference championship and helped lead them through the first round of the 2009 National Tournament.  Silva also served as a graduate assistant coach for Missouri as she pursued her masters degree in education.   Silva began her collegiate soccer career at Feather River College. In 2005, FRC won the Golden Valley Conference and made it to the first round of the NJCAA Tournament. She was named a Junior College First-Team All-American. After one season with FRC Silva was offered a scholarship to play for Martin Methodist College. During her time at MCC, the Red Hawks won three conference championships (2006, 2007, 2008). Silva helped lead the Red Hawks to a 2007 National Championship. She received many accolades during her time at MCC. Silva was named to the 2007 Regional Tournament First-Team, 2007 National Tournament First-Team, and was named the 2007 National Tournament MVP. She was the 2008 Conference Tournament MVP and 2008 Conference Player of the Year.   Silva played soccer professionally in Iceland (Akranes FC/IA club / Afturelding/UMFA Club) and in Sweden (BK 30 / Vastera).   Silva also has experience coaching club teams. Most recently, she was a part of the FC Elk Grove club/ Sacramento coaching staff. She served as the head coach of the U18 girls, U13 girls, U11 boys and U15 girls team. Also, she was responsible for assisting in all aspects of managing, developing and producing competitive youth soccer programs at Elk Grove Soccer League.
