McKersie completed his college soccer career in the fall of 2018 as part of Allegheny College's men's soccer team where he served as a two-year captain and was a 2nd team All-NCAC selection in 2018. He was also named the team defensive MVP in 2017 and 2018 At Allegheny, McKersie received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and is working on his Masters at Chatham alongside coaching.
