Mark Waterman is currently in his second season at Holy Cross as an assistant mens soccer coach in 2018. Waterman spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons as an assistant coach at Tufts University as the Jumbos won the 2016 Div. III national championship. Waterman joined Tufts in 2015, helping the team to a Sweet Sixteen appearance and then onto the Div. III National Championship in 2016. Waterman was a part of the staff to be named the 2016 NSCAA Staff of the Year.  While at Tufts, Waterman managed coaching video sessions for the team as well as individual and smaller group sessions. He was also responsible for the scouting of opponents and creating a scouting report. He also coordinated recruiting visits and evaluated nationally.  Waterman played four years at Denison University as a midfielder. He received his bachelor of arts in economics at Denison in 2015 and his master of sports leadership degree from Northeastern University in 2017. At Denison, he played in 67 games and tallied 57 points on 25 assists and 16 goals. Waterman served as a captain his senior year and was a three-time All-Conference player. His 25 assists ranks second all-time at Dension.  Waterman currently holds a USSF E license.
