Davyon Collins is entering his second  season as a Graduate Student Assistant for the DBU Mens Basketball program.  Collins is coming off a successful senior season with the Mens Basketball team at Dallas Christian College where he was voted team captain and earned Academic All-American honors.  Collins helped guide the Crusaders to an 18-9 record and a run to the Elite 8 in the NCCAA Division II National Tournament where they finished the year No. 5 in the nation.    Collins was a four-year Academic All-American during his collegiate career and while attending DCC, he was inducted into Delta Epsilon Chi. Collins graduated with Cum Laude honors and was awarded the Lucille L. Perkins Award, which is an award honoring the most well-prepared student within the Business Department.   Prior to his arrival at DBU, Collins coached at Alcuin School, a private school in Dallas, and a member of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS).  There, he learned and studied under Coach Chad Baruch, a well-known and experienced coach within the Dallas area.     Collins earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, and a minor in Biblical Studies from Dallas Christian College.  Collins is currently pursuing a MBA in Management at Dallas Baptist University
