Twelvetrees has built the mens soccer program into a national contender. The program has won Region regular or post season championship every year since the programs start as well as making the NJCAA Division I National Championship tournament twice.
He was the NJCAA Southeast District Coach of the Year in 2013.
Twelvetrees, who holds a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Premier Diploma amd USSF B License, also serves as Eastern Florida's strength and conditioning coach. The native of Swansea City in Wales, Great Britain came to Eastern Florida from Barton Community College in Great Bend, KS where he was head men's soccer coach for seven seasons, leading them to two straight appearances in the NJCAA National Tournament.
Twelvetrees moved to Barton from NCAA Division II Wayne State College in Nebraska where he was the head coach of the women's soccer team. Twelvetrees also served as an assistant at Division II Bemidji State University in Minnesota for two seasons. He graduated from the University of Brighton in the United Kingdom in 1999. Twelvetrees earned his master's degree at Bemidji State in 2004.
