Seth Erdman joins the Frostburg State mens soccer staff for his first season as an assistant coach in 2018.   Erdman has worked with the St. Francis Brooklyn mens soccer team to train and evaluate high school goalkeepers from 2013-16. He worked as a goalkeeper coach with the United States Naval Academy summer camp in 2013 and as a youth coach for Lower Dauphin from 2009-11.   Erdman recently wrapped up his collegiate playing career as a goalkeeper at Division I St. Francis Brooklyn from 2013-2016. He also played the 2012 season at Longwood. Erdman was a member of three Northeast Conference Championship teams (2013, 2014 and 2016) while helping the Terriers to 45 wins and three NCAA Tournament appearances.      Erdman appeared in 13 games with 11 starts in 2016. He logged over 1,000 minutes in net and made 37 saves with four shutouts.     During his college career, Erdman served as the Vice President for the St. Francis Brooklyn Student Athlete Advisory Committee.   Erdman also played for the U-20 City Islanders from 2012-13 and the U-23 City Islanders from 2015-15. He spent the 2017 soccer season as a commentator for St. Francis Brooklyn mens soccer team.   He graduated from St. Francis Brooklyn in 2017 with a degree in business management and a concentration in marketing. He assisted the SFC marketing team with entertainment and fan engagement initiatives at basketball games from 2014-16.
