Andrew Mpasiakos enters his second season as an assistant coach for the men's soccer program in 2018, starting his position in January. Mpasiakos comes to Goucher from Virginia Wesleyan, where he earned his bachelor's degree in International Studies (with a concentration in Business) in May of 2017.  While at Virginia Wesleyan, Mpasiakos earned four letters in soccer, earning a spot on the ODAC All-Academic Team all four years throughout the course of his career. In 2013, Mpasiakos helped Virginia Wesleyan win the ODAC Championships, as the Marlins advanced on to the NCAA Tournament.  A native of Monroe, New York, Mpasiakos has already held several positions in the soccer world. In the Summers of 2015 and 2016, he worked for the New York Red Bulls' Youth Training Division, while during his time at Virginia Wesleyan, he served as a youth coach with several organizations and assisted in youth camps throughout the community. In June 2017, Mpasiakos was hired as a head coach and trainer for Cedar Stars Academy-Hudson Valley, while he also served as a full-time program manager at the Capelli Sport Center in Florida, New York. Mpasiakos holds his USC Premier Diploma and USSF National C License. At Goucher, Mpasiakos is pursuing a Masters Degree in Education with a specialization in Athletic Administration and Leadership.
