David Kulik became the head mens soccer coach at Johnson & Wales University in April of 2012. In his first four seasons at JWU, the team has posted an impressive 57-20-9 record and won two-consecutive GNAC regular season championships as well as three-consecutive GNAC tournament championships. This four year run of success comes on the heels of the program posting a record of 16-54-4 in the four seasons prior to his arrival.  Kulik comes to the Wildcats program after spending the last 12 years at Clark University in Worcester, Mass.  Prior to his stint at Clark, Kulik spent nearly a decade as an assistant coach at Boston College, Yale and Tufts University.

In 2014, Kulik was named the GNAC Coach of the Year. He also serves as the New England Chairperson for the NSCAA and also represents the GNAC on this on the NCAA regional advisory ranking committee. Also active in the Club Soccer community, Kulik has led his squads to numerous league titles, state championships, and trips to regional tournaments. He has spent the last 15 seasons with the Inter Soccer Club, FC Greater Boston Bolts, and Bruno United. In 2014, his team won the U-16 RI state cup.

Kulik holds the United States Soccer Federation "A" license and the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. A 1988 graduate of Yale University with a degree in Sociology/Economics, he obtained an advanced degree in Psychology from Tufts University in 1992.
