Coach Mayo was hired in October of 2018 to lead the Lynx Men's Basketball program for the 2018-2019 season after joining his alma mater as an assistant coach for the 2017-2018 season. Mayo graduated from Lesley University in 2017 where he was a four year member of the basketball program and two year captain. A member of the 1,000 point club and NECC All-Conference 2nd team selection, Mayo guided the 2016-2017 team to the most wins in program history which currently still remains. He was named the team MVP for back to back years, and was also awarded with the Lesley Athletic's Male Senior Athlete of the Year award. In addition, Mayo coaches with the Middlessex Magic 10th grade AAU Basketball team and has won several tournaments including the State Tournament Championship.
