Adriano Moraes joined the Lincoln Memorial soccer staff as an assistant coach in 2007 after playing a pivotal role in one of the most successful seasons in program history. During his seven-season stint on the staff, the Jacareí, Brazil native has provided the mens and womens programs with substantial soccer knowledge, quality leadership and a work ethic that is second to none.

Before coming to LMU as a student-athlete in 2006, Moraes had the opportunity to play soccer at a high level, playing and training alongside a number of outstanding players and coaches in several clubs in Brazil, including São José Esporte Clube, Associação Atlética Matonense and Associação Atlética Internacional de Limeira.

In Moraes only season as a player, he helped the Railsplitters post a 15-2-3 overall record and advance to the NCAA National Semifinal. Moraes started 19 times and appeared in all 20 matches that season, accumulating three assists.

Besides to his regular duties at LMU, Moraes has been a part of the Tennessee Olympic Development Program since 2013. He is also the mens soccer head coach at J. Frank White Academy, a K-12 school located on the LMU campus. In addition, he has been working with youth soccer leagues and camps surrounding the community in order to promote the sport, help youth development and increase the LMU soccer programs relationship with the community.
