Duties include assist with all aspects of the Mens Basketball program, represent the Head coach in his absence. Fundraising, sponsorship, marketing, promotions, alumni, community and media engagement. Oversee booster club and development initiatives, implemented and oversee the Miles Ahead Club(Donors) and The French Connection (Corporate Sponsorships). Implementation of a Fall and Spring intramural program and schedule. Development of a junior varsity team and game schedule. Responsible for securing hotels and transportation for all game home and away. Responsible for all equipment and supply order, responsible for player development, on court coaching during practice, assist with game strategy. §  Assist with the scouting of opponents for various games and devised a game strategy from that scouting report §  Monitor the academic progress of all student athletes and maintained relationships with student athletes professors.    §  Conduct film breakdown sessions for all student athletes in the program, assist with recruiting and retaining the top prospective student athletes. §  Create the first Miles College mens elite camp, summer camp and high school team camp. §  Assist the strength and conditioning coordinator, assist with all team workouts, and responsible for the game schedule. §  Aid all student athletes with academic registration of classes and labs. §  Support enforcement of team rules and adherence with University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations while supporting the core values of the program and institution. §  Assist with mens basketball weekly meetings and reporting. ·         #1 ranked team nationally in scoring defense for NCAA D-2 basketball (56.7 points allowed per game). ·         #1 ranked team nationally in defensive field goal percentage for NCAA D-2 basketball (37.2%). ·         #5 ranked team nationally in three-point field goal defensive percentage for D-2 basketball (30.3%). ·         #31 ranked team nationally in fouls committed per game for NCAA D-2 basketball (15.1) ·         #47 ranked team nationally in total fouls committed for NCAA D-2 basketball (452) ·         Improved team Grade Point Average (GPA) from 2.6 to 3.2. ·         16 of the 22 student athletes in the program achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher(Fall semester). ·         Won the SIAC regular season championship finished the season 14-4 in conference (best record in school history). ·         Won the SIAC conference championship (first time in school history). ·         Awarded an automatic bid to participate in the NCAA D-2 national tournament (first time in school history). ·         Won 21 games (most wins in 30 years). ·         Placed 3 student athletes on the All-Tournament team including the tournament Most Valuable Player. ·         Recruited a D-2 Boxtorow 2nd Team All American (DeVonte Fuller).
