Rob Brandell is entering his second season as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Misericordia University. In 2018, the Cougars returned to the MAC Freedom Conference tournament after a 1 year hiatus. 5 athletes received All-Mac Freedom honors for their performances on the field, and 20 student-athletes were selected to the MAC Freedom Honor Roll for carrying a 3.2 GPA or higher. While at Misericordia, Brandell is pursuing a Masters of Science in Organizational Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Outside of Misericordia, he is a board member of the Back Mountain Youth Soccer Association, serving as the U12 Boys and Girls Coordinator. Brandell received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Studies from Misericordia University in 2017. From 2013-2017, the Saints won 3 Liberty League Championships and appeared in 4 consecutive NCAA tournaments, including Sweet 16 runs in 2013 and 2015. He was an All-Liberty League selection as a defender/midfielder in 2014, 2016, and 2017. In 2014, Brandell was honored by the NSCAA and ECAC as a 1st-Team All-East Region Midfielder and 1st-Team Upstate All-Star, respectively.
