Amanda Krampf, who spent seven years as a player and assistant coach in the Centennial Conference, returned to the CC when she was named head womens volleyball coach at Muhlenberg College in 2018. I am really excited about taking the position at Muhlenberg College, she said. I am looking forward to the opportunity to be coaching back in the Centennial Conference, building upon the success of the Muhlenberg volleyball team from the 2017 season. For the last four years, Krampf was the head coach at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where she was responsible for a huge turnaround. Inheriting a team that went 4-23 the year before she arrived, Krampf guided the Ladies to a 15-13 mark in 2015, their first winning season since 1990. Her team improved to 18-12 the following year. Krampf is a 2010 graduate of Gettysburg College, where she played for outgoing Muhlenberg coach Alexa Keckler, who recently accepted the head coaching position at Lehigh University. Krampf was named to the All-CC team as a setter all four years, earning first-team honors in 2006 and 2009, and led the Bullets to four straight CC playoff berths and a CC mark of 32-8. She ranks second in program history in assists per set (9.16). From 2011 to 2013, Krampf was a graduate assistant coach at McDaniel College. Krampf owns additional coaching experience as head coach of the Gettysburg mens club team and the Carroll Viper volleyball club, setting director at Montgomery Village Sports Association, and assistant coach with USA Volleyball Chesapeake Region High Performance.
