Weber took the reigns as the head men's basketball coach at Rockford University in March 2015. Just prior to being named the head coach, Weber served as the interim head coach for the final six weeks of the 2014-15 season after spending the last four and half years as an assistant coach. During his time as the lead assistant for the program, Weber helped develop seven All-NACC performers and an All-Midwest Region selection. Rockford has also had multiple Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference scholar-athletes. Additionally the Regents also qualified for the NACC Tournament three times. In Weber's first full season as the head coach, the RU men's basketball program nearly doubled its win total from 7 during the 2014-15 season to 13 in the 2015-16 season to give Rockford its first winning season in six years. Rockford's increased win total also led to multiple players receiving individual awards as the Regents had four All-NACC performers, three NACC Players of the Week and one player named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week. In addition to being the recruiting coordinator, Coach Weber helps in the scouting of opponents, breaking down film, on floor instruction, monitors academics and is the director for Rockford University basketball camps and tournaments. After two years at Ashford University, the 2006 Boylan Catholic grad became an important part of the Regents basketball turnaround. Webers arrival, along with eight other players, helped turnaround the program from 1-24 in 2007-08 to 17-10 in 2008-09. Weber started all 53 games in the Regents uniform, while averaging 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. Weber also holds the schools single season steals record with 81. A native of Roscoe, Ill., Weber completed his bachelors degree in Mathematics with a minor in Coaching in 2010 and his master's degree in Teaching in 2012. He and his wife Kaitlyn Weber have one daughter named Aubree.
