Bediako Swan served four seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Davis & Elkins, under current SFU head coach Frank Olszewski. He also moved over to the women's sideline prior to the 2016 season to serve duel roles.   In 2017, Swan was the recipient of the United Soccer Coaches Top 30 Coaches under 30 program.   Prior to his return to the Senators' program, Swan spent 2013 as an assistant coach of the Elkins High girls' soccer team, and helped guide the Tigers to a sectional championship. Swan also served as a staff coach with Elkins United and Seneca Soccer club teams.   Swan had a successful playing career as a striker for Davis & Elkins, earning two first team All-WVIAC selections (2009, 2010) and All-Region accolades in 2010. He began his collegiate playing career at Georgia Perimeter College.   Swan graduated from D&E in 2012 with a double major in history and political science.
