Calvin Sinkfield enters his fourth season as the head coach of the Southern Crescent Technical College Tigers mens basketball program after spend the first two seasons as the Head Women's Coach. In the past three years under Sinkfield the mens basketball program has improved the competitiveness in the mens program. With the first of two players being selected to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All American team (3rd team and Honorable mention in 2014), 7 players to the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) Region XVII All conference team with one 2015 GCAA Region XVII MVP. In the last  year Sinkfield has had his first player sign with Hiwassee College, a four year NCCAA (National Collegiate Christian Athletic Association) institution.
