Kyle Hughes enters his 5th season with the Pioneers, his second season as the Head Mens Soccer Coach.  Hughes came to the Pioneers after spending two years serving as a staff coach for Carolina Elite Soccer Academy (CESA) and United FC. During his time with coaching club soccer in South Carolina, Hughes has coached at the academy, select, challenge and premier levels.  In 2015, Hughes joined the Mens Soccer Pioneers coaching staff as an assistant coach that was led by former Head Coach, Kevin Nolan. The two would go on to produce a record of 28-9-2 overall and 23-7 in conference play.  In 2017, Hughes was named the Head Mens Soccer Coach shortly after the resignation of former head coach Kevin Nolan. In his first season Hughes led the Pioneers to a 12-6-2 record overall and 7-6-2 in conference play.  Hughes played at Spartanburg Methodist College and North Greenville University. He currently resides in Greenville, SC.
