Jordan Pickett is in her third year at Temple College as the head volleyball coach. Pickett joined the Temple College staff in June of 2017. The growth in Pickett's coaching era went from 2 wins in 2017, to 18 wins and 3rd in conference this past season. Prior to Temple College Pickett was the head coach for the 17u Asics Austin Performance Volleyball and the assistant coach for the 15u in 2017. Pickett also head coached 15u teams, as well as assisted the 13u Asics team. Pickett was also a head coach for Fort Smith Juniors VBC from 2012-2015. In 2014, Pickett was a student-assistant coach at University of Arkansas Fort-Smith while finishing her degree. In 2014, Pickett student-assisted under Johnny Neely, who is now the BYUnWomen's Volleyball 1st assistant.  Pickett most recently played in the Bring It USA Professional Volleyball Tour in Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy in 2016. She played her junior and senior year of college at University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. In 2012-2013 Pickett was awarded 1st Team All-Conference for the Heartland and 1st Team All-Tournament for the Heartland Conference Tournament. In 2012 Pickett was awarded NCAA D2 Honorable Mention All-American. Prior to University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, Pickett played at Temple College after transferring in from California State University East Bay, where she spent her freshman year. While with the Leopards in 2011, Pickett was awarded 1st Team All-Region, 1st Team All-Conference, and was the Region V North Co-Offensive MVP. Pickett graduated from the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith with a Bachelor of Science in English Literature with a Teacher Licensure. Outside of coaching, Pickett enjoys teaching about health and wellness, drawing, doing yoga, and going to the movies.
