Michael Pilger completed his 17th season as head coach of the Trinity College mens soccer team, having guided the Bantams to the NESCAC Championship Tournament in seven of the last eight years. Also a physical education instructor at the College, Pilger came to Trinity from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and the Cleveland Crunch of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), after highly successful stints as head coach at the University of Rochester and Kenyon College where he won National Coach of the Year honors in 1990 and was Regional Coach of the Year 4 times. He has taken 3 different teams to the NCAA Tournament and Top 25 National Rankings.
