Sarah Devine joined the UC Riverside Women's Soccer Team as assistant coach in April, 2013, and works primarily with the defenders. During her first year with the Highlanders, UC Riverside came within a goal of advancing to the NCAA Tournament, falling to Cal State Fullerton in the 2013 Big West Championship in penalty kicks. It was the Highlanders first trip to the conference tournament since 2005, as they finished in third place in the regular season and upended UC Irvine in the conference semifinals. For an encore, in 2014, UC Riverside recorded the program's first winning season since the 2006 campaign, finishing 8-7-3. The 2015 campaign saw the Highlanders make their second trip to the conference tournament in three years, and win the second most matches in program history. In 2017, the Highlanders returned to the tournament again with a 2nd place conference finish. As a player, Devine played in 68 matches for the Anteaters during her four-year career including 66 in her final three years. The San Diego, California native scored three goals and handed out four assists in her career, and earned All-Big West First Team accolades following her senior campaign. Devine also played professionally for the San Diego SeaLions of the WPSL, captaining the 2013 squad while leading it to a national championship. She recently earned her D coaching license, and has completed her masters degree in athletic administration from Concordia University.   Sarah Devine Assistant Women's Soccer Coach
