Coach Chris Dalley graduated from Whittier College in 2006 with a BA in Kinesiology with an emphasis on teaching and coaching after playing two seasons for The Poets. Immediately following his playing days, Coach Dalley began coaching as a graduate assistant for the Poets. After year, in 2008, he returned home to Santa Barbara to coach as an assistant at Santa Barbara City College with Coach Morris Hodges whom he played for in 2001 - 2004. After two years at the SBCC, he returned to the Poets for two years and earned his Teacher Credential and Master's Degree in Education.  From 2012 to 2018, Coach Dalley went on to coach at the high school level for both Schurr and Whittier High School. In 2015, he became the head varsity coach at Whittier High School and helped guide them to a Del Rio League championship and quarterfinal run in CIF division 2A. He went on to coach varsity basketball for two more years before finding his way back to the Poet's bench for the 2018-19 season. Chris Dalley returns for his second year as an assistant of the Men's Basketball program at Whittier College.
