Jonathan Lagos enters his first season with the Terriers as an assistant men's soccer coach.   Lagos comes to the Terriers after spending the past two seasons at his alma mater, North Greenville University, where he served as an assistant mens soccer coach and recruiting coordinator. During his time at NGU, he helped lead the Crusaders to their first conference tournament appearance in four years.   Prior to NGU, Lagos has over three years of coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate level, spending time at Berea High School as the assistant mens varsity coach and coaching on the NCAA Division I and II levels at Presbyterian College and Southern Wesleyan University.   During his time at Berea, Lagos helped lead the Bulldogs to a 3A State Championship in 2015, along with helping the Bulldogs achieve their first playoff appearance and first playoff win in 2014. Lagos then went on to coach at Southern Wesleyan University, where he helped the Warriors win the National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association title.   At Presbyterian, Lagos helped the team achieve the most wins and most all-conference selections in program history in 2016. Additionally, he helped lead the Blue Hose to their first conference semi-final appearance while adding a seven win turn around from the teams total record the previous year.   Lagos also serves as the academy director and head coach for the United Futbol Club, where he has guided several teams to tournament wins at both the Academy and Select levels. He holds a number of professional certifications including licenses from US Soccer and the South Carolina Youth Soccer Association.   Lagos, a 2015 graduate, owns a Bachelor of Science degree in sport management from North Greenville University and was a member of the NGU mens soccer team.
