Thomas Valikonis enters his third  season with the Terriers as an assistant coach. Valikonis come to the Terriers after spending the past two years serving as a staff coach for the Carolina Elite Soccer Academy (CESA). During his time with the CESA, Valikonis helped lead the team to a state championship in 2017 at both the Academy and Select levels. Prior to his time with the Carolina Elite Soccer Academy, Valikonis served as the academy director for the Storm Soccer Academy in 2014. He holds a number of professional certifications including licenses from US Soccer and the South Carolina Youth Soccer Association.  Valikonis, a 2014 graduate, owns a Bachelor of Science in sport management with a minor in marketing from Georgia Southern University. He was also a member of the GSU mens soccer team.
