Jordan Bell begins his first season as an assistant coach for the Young Harris College men's and women's soccer teams.   Bell returns to the Enchanted Valley after spending the past two seasons as a graduate assistant for the men's soccer program at his alma mater Upper Iowa University.   From 2010-14, Bell made 53 starts in goal for UIU, compiling over 4,700 minutes between the sticks. The two-time captain recorded 327 career saves, including 86 his senior season (second in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association). Bell posted four shutouts his senior campaign as well, including a scoreless tie against top-ranked Lindenwood University. Bell helped lead the Peacocks to a post-eason game for the first time in the program's NCAA Division II history in 2013. The Peacocks' season resulted in a semifinal match in the MIAA conference tournament.   After graduating from Upper Iowa in May 2014, Bell served one season as a goalkeepers coach at Young Harris. The Mountain Lions went 19-1-1 in 2014 and made their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division II National Tournament, advancing to the national quarterfinals. In the summer of 2015, Bell played for the Mississippi Brilla soccer club in Clinton, Mississippi, and there helped lead his team to a mid-south division title and hosting the Southern Conference Tournament. Bell also was the team captain for Mississippi Brilla in 2017 and 2018, helping the club reach the semifinals of the Premier Development League in 2017.   Bell, a native of Glasgow, Scotland, earned his bachelor's degree in sports communication and his master's degree in business administration from Upper Iowa,.
