Edwards takes over as the men’s soccer coach after spending three seasons at Knox College in Galesburg, Ill., where he transformed the program from a one-win team in the season prior to his arrival to conference champions in 2014.  He was named Midwest Conference Coach of the Year after the 2014 season when the team was 15-4 overall.

Before coaching at Knox, Edwards spent one season at Amherst College as an assistant coach. During that season, Amherst won the highly-competitive NESCAC championship and reached the Elite 8 of the NCAA Division III Championships, setting a program record with 16 wins. Prior to Amherst, Edwards spent four seasons at Springfield College (Mass.) where he served as the associate head coach from 2007-2011. Edwards also worked as the assistant director of Alumni Relations during his time with Springfield College.
