Adam Ponder joined the Wright State men’s soccer coaching staff as an assistant in April 2017. He serves as one of the lead recruiters for the program and is involved with areas such as training sessions, scouting and camps.

Ponder came to WSU after three years as an assistant at Valparaiso.  Prior to Valparaiso, Ponder spent one season as a volunteer assistant at Mount Union.  On the club level, he has been involved with the Three Lions United Soccer Club along with Indiana Elite FC, Canton United SC and United Elite, Knoxville FC and Bloomington Cutters SC.

A 2006 graduate of Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Ponder earned a master’s degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Tennessee in 2010.  He played collegiately for one season at High Point.
