Albert Flores recently completed his first season as an assistant coach with the Concordia Texas women’s soccer team.

Flores brings a wealth of experience to the Tornados, including an extensive coaching resume. In addition to CTX, Flores serves as a coach with the Austin Texans Soccer Club, the South Texas Olympic Development Program and is a Region III coach with the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program.

As a player, Flores was a four-year letter winner at UT Pan American (now UT Rio Grande Valley). He was a goalie for the Broncs from 1992-95. Flores’ freshman squad posted an 11-2 overall record and advanced to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament that season. Flores still holds the UTRGV single-season program record for goals against average and is tied for first with 10 wins.
