Allofs Lima joined the LMU men’s soccer coaching staff in the spring of 2015 after spending four seasons as Assistant Coach of the Occidental Tigers men’s soccer program. Lima also served as Occidental Athletic’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee advisor.
Lima graduated from Reseda High School Environmental Magnet where he won a City Championship in 1998 and his teammates voted him Rookie of the Year. After graduating high school he went on to play at Pasadena City College where he won league titles in 2000 and 2001, and captained the side while holding the record for most assists in one season. In 2001 he was All-SCC First Team selection and All-American Honorable Mention the same year. He graduated with a 3.8 GPA and became volunteer assistant coach the next season before transferring to CSUN to finish his collegiate career.
After college, in 2006, he played in Guatemala’s 2nd division for Deportivo Puerto San Jose and the following year had a tryout for Spanish La Liga Team, Racing de Santander. After finishing his playing career, he coached at Calabasas High School for two years while also coaching club soccer for Rovers FC (now Barcelona California). After leaving the Calabasas area, he moved to the Westside of Los Angeles to coach at Milken Community High School for two years. From there he moved on to Brentwood School and coached for 10 seasons, eventually becoming the varsity head coach. Lima also has coached at the ODP level for the ODP Nevada boys side.
He currently coaches at FC Los Angeles and has a USSF National C license.
