EKU announced the addition of graduate assistant Ally Peters to the volleyball program prior to the 2016 season.
Peters, a resident of Medina, Ohio, is a recent graduate of the communications studies program at EKU. Peters was a three-year player for the Colonels after transferring from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2012.
In 2015, Peters played in 31 matches for Colonels with 27 starts. She was fourth on the team in kills (188) and averaged 1.83 kills-per-set for the Colonels. Against SIU Edwardsville and Tennessee Tech, she posted a season-high 12 kills. She added a season-high five aces against Eastern Illinois on Nov. 6.
Some of her duties for the Colonels will include team itineraries, recruiting, assisting and executing practices, and facilitating communication for film exchange.
