Andy Swift is in his sixth season as an assistant coach on the JSU Soccer staff. His responsibilities encompass training at all positions, recruiting and other various off the field duties. Under Swift’s tutelage, Gamecock goalkeepers have ranked among the Ohio Valley Conference’s best.
Swift is heavily involved in the program’s community service efforts with the planning of various clinics throughout the local community and the JSU summer camps. Swift joined the Gamecock staff in 2008 after a one year stint as an assistant coach in charge of goalkeepers at the University of Akron. Under Swift’s guidance, Akron goalkeepers posted a 1.02 goals against average, which ranked fourth in the MAC.
