The Athletic Department has completed its search and has named Benji Works as the new Women’s Head Coach. Works brings over two decades of coaching experience to Johnson University Florida, including coaching in South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa as well as in the United States. Prior to becoming a coach, Works was collegiate player at Campbellsville University (KY). In 2002, Coach Works played soccer in England with Bolton Ambassadors F.C. He played two seasons for the Men’s First and Reserve teams. While he was with Ambassadors F.C. Benji has played soccer matches in 10 different countries in Europe as well as playing soccer matches in several countries in Africa and in Asia. Benji started coaching soccer in 1996 when he was in England with Ambassadors In Sport. Starting in 2002 Coach Works was Bolton Ambassadors F.C. Women’s Assistant Manager for two seasons, and the Men’s Reserve Team Coach for one season. While coaching for Bolton F.C. he coached in the world’s oldest soccer tournament the F.A. Cup.
