B.J. Merriam completed his first season as an assistant coach with Susquehanna in 2012. Merriam works primarily with the team’s goalkeepers and in 2012, starting goalie Matt Salsman ’13 was named an All-Landmark Conference player. Merriam had a stellar playing career for the Crusaders (2007-11), starting 54 matches and playing over 4,800 minutes in goal. He had a career goals against average of 1.16, a save percentage of .788 and a posted 28 career victories with 15 shutouts for the Orange and Maroon.
