Blaze Lambert joined the Nicholls baseball staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2013 after serving as an assistant coach at Ranger College.
Lambert will primarily assist with the day-to-day operations of the team, as well as serving as hitting coach and working with the catchers and outfielders.
After a three-year playing career, Lambert graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2007 with a degree in physical education specializing in exercise science. Upon earning his masters degree in kinesiology from Angelo State University, Lambert became a volunteer assistant coach at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi where he coached the catchers, handled team camp activities, field maintenance and overall operations.
Lambert moved on to Des Moines Area Community College where he was the recruiting coordinator and pitching coach. More recently, he held the same duties at Ranger College, serving as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator.
