Former Gardner-Webb soccer student-athlete Bradley Morrison returned to his alma mater prior to the 2016 season as an assistant coach.

Morrison previously served as head coach at NCAA Division II Brevard (N.C.) College, taking over that program in 2013. The Shelby, N.C., native also spent time working as ODP assistant coach with the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association.

He also spent time as the Director of Coaching with the Greater Cleveland County Soccer Association (GCCSA), a program he spent time in himself playing youth soccer.

Morrison, who suited up for GWU from 2005-08, played in 50 matches for the Runnin’ Bulldogs totaling 11 goals, three assists and 25 points on the pitch.

The two-time Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team member led the Runnin’ Bulldogs with 18 goals in 2008 and was a member of the 2006 Atlantic Sun Championship team.

Morrison graduated with a B.S. degree in Biology from GWU in May 2009 and earned a Mater’s degree in Sports Science and Pedagogy in 2011.
