Brandon Bianco completed his third season as head coach at Case Western Reserve in 2015. Named just the fourth head coach in program history on April 15, 2013, Bianco spent the previous five seasons at Ohio Wesleyan University where he helped the Battling Bishops to the 2011 NCAA Championship and was named NSCAA Great Lakes Region Assistant Coach of the Year.

In 2015, Bianco led the program to a 13-4-1 record, the best by a CWRU men’s soccer team since 2011 (15-5) and the third best season in school history. The Spartans topped five regionally ranked teams, two NCAA tournament teams and finished second in the University Athletic Association during the campaign. The 2015 team also tallied 10 shutouts, conceded seven fewer goals than the year before and scored 19 more goals than in the previous season. The Spartans earned a spot in the national poll twice during the season, ranking as high as No. 16. Bianco also mentored midfielder Chris Cvecko, who was named the fourth All-American in the program’s history, and was the second Spartan ever to be selected as the UAA Most Valuable Player in 2015.
