Brent Coates comes to ORU for the 2013 season after a serving as the head men’s soccer coach at Oklahoma Baptist University for the previous six seasons.
In the fall of 2013, Coates lead the OBU Men’s Soccer team to a Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament title while advancing to the Sweet 16. He has served as the SAC Men’s Soccer Conference Chair and served on the NAIA National Top 25 Ranking Committee for the previous three seasons.
