In 2014 Goyings saw his best season to date. The Hornets went 14-5-2 overall and 10-5-1 in conference play, finishing second in the MIAA regular season standings. In the MIAA tournament Kalamazoo blew out Alma 5-1 in the semi-finals before losing in a dramatic penalty shootout at Hope for the MIAA tournament championship. He currently holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “A” License. Goyings also holds a National Youth License and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Primier Diploma and Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma. Goyings has also been actively involved at various camps and working with the Olympic Development Program in Michigan, training and developing the highest level of youth soccer in the state. He is presently the head coach of the 97 ODP age group.
