Caitlin Pickul was named an assistant women’s soccer coach for Holy Cross on February 8, 2016. Pickul comes to Holy Cross after serving as an assistant coach at Wellesley College for the past five seasons.
Pickul joined the Wellesley coaching staff in 2011, where she played a vital role in team strategy, recruiting and goalkeeper training. While at Wellesley, she also served as the assistant director of strength and conditioning for five seasons and oversaw the fitness programs for the soccer, squash, fencing and golf teams, as well as secondary roles with the lacrosse, volleyball, crew and tennis squads.
Prior to Wellesley, Pickul served as an assistant coach and goalie coach at Salem State University in 2010 and as the head goalkeeper coach for the SF Vikings Club Program in 2008. She got her coaching start as the goalkeeper coach at North Andover (Mass.) High School in 2007.
Pickul also has extensive camp coaching experience at the Salem State, Babson College, Slocum Soccer School, Phillips Academy and Chicago Storm soccer camps.
A graduate of Providence College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Pickul was a four-year member of the Friar women’s soccer team as a goalkeeper. She went on to earn her Master of Business Administration degree in Sports Management at Loyola University Chicago in 2010.
