César Gomez is in his 15th year as a member of the Thunder coaching staff in 2016. Gomez serves as goalkeepers coach.
The Paraguay native played soccer in the Paraguayan National League, a semi-professional league. He has also coached at Wheaton North High School from 1990-98 and is a five-year head coach at West Chicago High School.
He and his wife Lisa have two adult children, Julio and Darlena, and two grandchildren, Annalisa Jane and Juliana. For 30 years, Gomez has worked at Wheaton College in the Physical Plant and he is also involved at Water’s Edge Bible Church.
