Chad Cox enters his first year on the coaching staff of both the men’s and women’s soccer programs for East Texas Baptist University. He is a former two-sport athlete at ETBU, playing both soccer and baseball during his time on the Hill.
Cox returns to Marshall, Texas, following a two-year stint (2014-15) at his high school alma mater, Palestine High School. While working within the Palestine Independent School District, he served as a math teacher as well as an assistant boys and girls soccer coach for the Wildcats.
During the spring 2015 season, the Palestine boys’ soccer program advanced to the University Interscholastic League 4A Regional Final, while the girls’ team qualified for the UIL 4A Bi-districts.
