Christopher Hom joined the Matadors for his first season in 2013-14. He previously spent two years as a volunteer assistant coach at the University of San Francisco, where his duties included developing the team’s catchers, academic support, facilities maintenance and camps. While on staff, USF reached the NCAA postseason in 2013. Hom was an assistant coach at the University of California, San Diego from 2009 to 2011. While with the Triton’s, the team reached the NCAA Division II College World Series in 2009 and 2010.
