Chris Nastasi enters his first campaign as an assistant coach with the Molloy baseball program. He comes to Rockville Centre after a lauded two-year stint as a player at Division III Manhattanville College. In his tenure with the Valiants, Nastasi was named to the All-Freedom Conference Second-Team on two occasions, and an ABCA All-Mid-Atlantic Second-Team Pick in 2009.
Nastasi also broke into the Manhattanville record books, as he owns the school’s all-time clip for hitting (.431), and slugging percentage (.754). Nastasi is also positioned at fourth for home runs (14) and on-base percentage (.514). Moreover, the Bayville native sits in the Top-5 for a pair of Valiants’ single-game records, ranking second in RBI (7), and third in home runs (2).
