A two-time NSCAA Nevada State Coach of the Year, Coach DeLeón compiled a 133-34-18 record in nine seasons as the varsity coach of the boys and girls soccer programs at South Tahoe High School in South Lake Tahoe, California. During his career at South Tahoe High School, he was part of two Class 4A state titles with the boys’ team and he took the girls’ team to three consecutive state tournaments. Both of these teams were ranked in NSCAA Fall Soccer Region VI and National polls. He has coached numerous youth club teams in Northern Nevada as well as worked as an Olympic Development Program (ODP) state evaluator. His latest endeavor was being hired to start the program at Lake Tahoe Community College. There, he finished the regular season with 10-5-5 record and was ranked as 9th in Northern California.
